Automatic updates to invoices and pro-rated amounts

In the original version of LandlordVision, if you forgot to end a tenancy at the time the tenant moves out, and months later manually end it with the original expiry date, LV removed all redundant invoices post expiry, and pro-rated the final invoice to the exact date that the tenant moved out.
But, in the new version of LV, this process does not seem to work.
When we set an expiry date for the tenancy, if that date is in the past, it does not automatically adjust or remove invoices beyond the expiry date. And, it does not seem to pro-rata the final invoice either.
We have had to go back into each expired tenancy and manually delete/remove any invoices that cover periods beyond the tenancy expiry date, and manually pro-rata the final invoice.
Can the new LV be made to work this way? Iif we know in advance that a tenancy is ending and we add the expiry date, or need to change the end date after a tenancy has been set up and running, will LV automatically produce a correct final invoice that has been pro-rated? Or will we have to adjust the final invoice manually in this scenario too?
If these features do not yet exist in the new LV, please can I add it to a feature request, if you have something like this.
Thanks for your help!

Hello

Thank you for your post

Have you tried this recently?  We launched this feature at the end of February.  When you set an expiry date, press Save and the software will ask you for an amount for the pro-rata invoice.  Press Update to set this invoice and the software will delete any subsequent ones

If you have any further issues with this, please contact us via the service desk

Kind regards

Roy

Thanks for your fast reply. I hadn't tried it again since the last time (which was December), but will do now. Thank you.
