Enterprise Grade Features

I'd like to start by saying we love Landlord Vision and have migrated a good portion of our workflows onto the system. 


We are an SME Landlord group of businesses, but are not subscribed to the Enterprise Package due to the premium cost lacking a number of key features we need to enable us to run our full business through the software. 

1 - VAT function needs to include MTD for VAT. Not having this makes the VAT function useless, or introduces even further cost as requires a third part (Xero) subscription to get the HMRC legally required MTD for VAT outcome.

2 - Planned maintenance/upgrades programme - There is no function in the system currently to develop a planned maintenance programme. It can deal with reactive maintenance work orders being raised on an ah-hoc basis, but functionality to track expected asset lifecycles would be great. i.e kitchen due for replacement in 30 years, smoke alarms due for replacement in 8 years, etc.

3 - Integration with iCloud Calendar/Outlook Calendar etc. This would be very useful to plan maintenance tasks, routine inspections etc from the system, and them land in the diary of the relevant member of staff who is allocated the task.

No. 3 is on the lookahead and No 1 is being discussed and will likely happen later this year or early next.  As for No. 2, can you (and others reading this) give us a full overview of your workflow so that we can spec something out please?

Hi Roy,

Great to hear Nr 1 and 3 in the works.

In terms of Nr 2 planned improvements, our experience with this would need to be as below.

Assets to choose from:

- Kitchen

- Bathrooms

- Smoke/Heat/CO2 Alarm

- Windows & External Doors

- Roof

- Floor Finishes

- Boundary Treatments (Fences/Walls etc)

Data to be contained per asset per property unit:
- Date Installed

- Lifespan

- Material Make-Up (I.e UPVC or aluminium windows, concrete tiles or slate roof etc)

- Replacement programme of works duration (I.e 2 weeks to change the roof)

- Does the property need to be void or can it be occupied for the works (windows and multi-bathroom properties can be whilst occupied, kitchen and single bathroom needs to be void etc)

- Anticipated cost/budget for replacement/quote or contract value if agreed/known

- Anticipated contractor (assignable from contacts) 

- Auto populated replacement date

Reports that this could feed:

- Projected Expenditure by Fiscal Year

- Gantt Chart showing planned works by trade
